mPEG-Alkyne (MW 20000) is a PEG derivative. Under the catalysis of a monovalent copper, the alkyne group can chemically react with azide in an aqueous solution. Polyethylene glycol derivatives enhance drug solubility and stability, reduce peptide immunogenicity, and exhibit excellent biocompatibility.
