DPPE-PEG1-azide (DPPE-PEG1-N3) is a PEG-modified lipid featuring an azide group (azide). It can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAC) with molecules containing alkyne groups. Additionally, it can undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition reactions (SPAAC) with molecules that have DBCO or BCN groups.
