Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 10000) (Silane-PEG-azide (MW 10000)) is a PEG derivative composed of Silane, PEG units, and azide groups, which can modify glass, silicon, or other surfaces through reaction with hydroxy and ethoxy (methoxy) silanes. The azide groups in Silane-PEG-N3 (MW 10000) participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-bearing molecules. Additionally, it can engage in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
