Resveratrol-13C6 is a carbon-13 labeled form of Resveratrol. Resveratrol (trans-Resveratrol, SRT501) is a natural polyphenol known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, and anticancer properties. It targets a variety of proteins, including mTOR, JAK, beta-amyloid, Adenylyl cyclase, IKKbeta, and DNA polymerase, and acts as a specific activator of SIRT1. Additionally, Resveratrol is an effective Pregnane X Receptor (PXR) inhibitor and serves as an Nrf2 activator, capable of mitigating aging-related progressive renal injury in mouse models. It also enhances nitric oxide (NO) production in endothelial cells.
