Bedaquiline impurity 2-d6 is a deuterated form of Bedaquiline. Bedaquiline (TMC207) is a diarlyquinoline active compound that inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) F1FO-ATP synthase by targeting both the c-subunit and epsilon-subunit simultaneously. It exhibits uncoupling activity and has potential use for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
