Temozolomide-d3 is the deuterated form of Temozolomide. Temozolomide (NSC 362856) is an orally active DNA alkylating agent capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier. It also acts as an autophagy inducer and an apoptosis agent. This compound is effective against tumor cells characterized by low levels of O6-alkylguanine-DNA alkyltransferase (OGAT) and dysfunctional mismatch repair systems. Temozolomide exhibits anti-tumor and anti-angiogenic effects.
