It exhibits antibacterial activity against Acinetobacter baumannii with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 12.5 µg/mL. Rheoemodin shows mild to moderate antimycobacterial and antifungal properties and demonstrates anticancer activity against breast cancer and small-cell lung cancer.
