Sudachitin is a polymethoxyflavone primarily found in Citrus sudachi. It exhibits anti-obesity effects by promoting lipolysis in fat cells. Additionally, Sudachitin reduces the production of MMP-1 and MMP-3 in TNF-alpha activated HPDLC by inhibiting the Akt pathway.
