YARA peptide is a cell-penetrating peptide that acts as an MK2 inhibitor. In vitro skin culture models demonstrate that nanoparticles loaded with YARA reduce levels of inflammatory cytokines (IL-1beta, IL-6, and TNF-alpha). YARA peptide holds potential for research in atopic dermatitis (AD).
