UCI-1 is a cyclic peptide inhibitor of the SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro), with an IC50 of 160 µM. It does not exhibit significant cytotoxicity at concentrations that inhibit Mpro. UCI-1 is applicable in the research of anti-COVID-19 therapeutics.
