PIYLGGVFQ is a TNF-alpha peptide inhibitor. It can suppress TNF-alpha-mediated apoptosis, nuclear translocation, and activation of NF-kappaB. In a CIA mouse model, PIYLGGVFQ has demonstrated anti-arthritic activity.
