ATRkinase substrate peptide (compound 45) is a potent and selective inhibitor of the ATR protein kinase, with a Ki of 6 nM. It inhibits ATR activity by competing with the ATP binding site of the ATR kinase, thereby blocking ATR-mediated signal transduction. This compound can be utilized to study the role of ATR kinase in the DNA damage response.
