NBD-2 is an inhibitor targeting the NEMO-IKKalpha/beta interaction within the NF-kappaB signaling pathway. It can specifically suppress the canonical NF-kappaB signaling both in vitro and in vivo, thereby reducing the inflammatory response in acute lung injury (ALI) induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). NBD-2 demonstrates significant anti-inflammatory activity and is applicable for research on diseases related to the NF-kappaB signaling pathway, such as autoimmune disorders and cancer.
