WL 47 dimer (ligand 1) is a small molecule ligand for CAV-1 characterized by high affinity, selectivity, and oligomer dissociation activity. It occupies two binding sites on CAV-1, inducing the dissociation of oligomers. The affinity of WL 47 dimer is enhanced 7500-fold compared to its T20 parent ligand, with an 80% reduction in sequence length. This compound enables targeted investigation of CAV-1s function.
