Azurin p28 peptide TFA is an antitumor peptide capable of penetrating tumors. It reduces the proteasomal degradation of p53 by forming a p28:p53 complex and can induce apoptosis or cell cycle arrest. Additionally, Azurin p28 peptide TFA suppresses the growth of p53-positive tumors and exhibits anti-angiogenic activity by inhibiting the phosphorylation of VEGFR-2, FAK, and Akt.
