FGGH is a water-soluble peptide probe that enables highly sensitive sequential detection of Cu2+ and S2- through fluorescence and colorimetric methods, with limits of detection (LOD) of 1.42 nM for Cu2+ and 22.2 nM for S2-. It allows imaging of these ions in live cells and zebrafish models with low cytotoxicity. FGGH is applicable for in vivo imaging and environmental pollution monitoring research.
