soVIRIP is an antiviral peptide with an IC50 of 1.2 µM against HIV-1. It binds to the HIV-1 GP41 fusion peptide, thereby inhibiting viral fusion and blocking entry into host cells. soVIRIP demonstrates broad-spectrum anti-HIV-1 activity and shows no toxicity in zebrafish models. It is applicable in viral infection research.
