DABCYL-RAGGYIFS-(E-EDANS)-NH2 is an octapeptide substrate for the FRET-based CHIKV nsP2 protease (CHIKV nsP2protease), characterized by high sensitivity. Upon cleavage by the active CHIKV nsP2 protease, it separates the fluorophore from the quencher, resulting in an increased fluorescence signal. This compound is utilized for assaying CHIKV nsP2 protease activity.
