IdeS (Immobilized, Microspin) is a resin with IdeS protease covalently attached to agarose beads, designed to cleave IgG at specific sites to produce F(ab)2 and Fc fragments. The digestion solution, after completion, contains F(ab)2 and Fc fragments, without the presence of the IdeS enzyme.
