Citrate Synthase, Porcine (EC 4.1.3.7) catalyzes the conversion of citrate to acetyl-CoA in the presence of coenzyme A, releasing water and oxaloacetate. It can be inhibited by fluoroacetyl-CoA, palmitoyl-CoA, and citryl-CoA.
