Carboxy-Amido-PEG5-N-Boc is a PEG linker containing terminal carboxylic acid and Boc-protected amino groups. The hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous media. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g., EDC, HATU) to form stable amide bonds. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to yield a free amine.
