H-151 is a potent and irreversible inhibitor of stimulator of interferon genes (STING). It covalently modifies cysteine 91 of STING, which blocks STING palmitoylation and clustering, events essential for downstream TBK1 activation and type I interferon production during immune responses to pathogenic and self-DNA detection by the cGAS-STING pathway.
