CENPM, also known as Centromere protein M is involved in centromere assembly and immune response. This protein is an inner protein of the kinetochore, the multi-protein complex that binds spindle microtubules to regulate chromosome segregation during cell division. It was originally identified as a gene highly expressed in b catenin transformed mouse mammary tissue. CENPM protein, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-180 from human CENPM, fused His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli.
