For the quantitative determination of rabbit Immunoglobulin A in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, and tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 3ng/ml Detection Range: 12-3000ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rabbit IgA. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rabbit IgA and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with rabbit IgA. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for rabbit IgA. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of rabbit IgA in samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Kit Components: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells Standard, 6x0.5ml HRP-conjugate, 1x6ml Sample Diluent, 2x20ml Wash Buffer (25X), 1x20ml TMB Substrate, 1x10ml Stop Solution: 1x10ml Storage and Stability: Store all kit components at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
