MaxLight(TM)550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor(TM)546, 555, DyLight(TM)549 , Cy3(TM), TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm), Emission (575nm), Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Epithelial membrane protein 3 (EMP3) is a multipass transmembrane protein in the peripheral myelin protein 22 family. It is expressed as a 20-25kD molecule depending on the degree of glycosylation. EMP3 interacts with the P2X7 purinergic receptor on monocytes. Its dysregulation is associated with glioma and neuroblastoma. Human EMP3 shares 93% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat EMP3. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
