Partial recombinant corresponding to aa191-300 from human F12 (AAH12390) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Factor XII is a serum glycoprotein that participates in the initiation of blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, and the generation of bradykinin and angiotensin. Prekallikrein is cleaved by factor XII to form kallikrein, which then cleaves factor XII first to alpha-factor XIIa and then trypsin cleaves it to beta-factor XIIa. Alpha-factor XIIa activates factor XI to factor XIa. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: GHQFEGAEEYASFLQEAQVPFLSLERCSAPDVHGSSILPGMLCAGFLEGGTDACQGDSGGPLVCEDQAAERRLTLQGIISWGSGCGDRNKPGVYTDVAYYLAWIREHTVS Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
