MMP10 is a Metallopeptidase M10A type protease. Stromelysin2/MMP10 is a member of a gene family of metalloproteinases involved in extracellular matrix remodeling in normal and diseased processes. It degrades collagen and many non-collagenous components of the extracellular matrix including fibronectin, gelatins of type I, III, IV, and V and may play a role in the activation of latent procollagenase. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
