Full length protein corresponding to aa1-405 from human SERPINA6
Serpin A6 (also known as corticosteroid-binding globulin/CBG and Transcortin) is a 50-60kD, secreted glycoprotein member of the serpin family of protease inhibitors. It is produced by hepatocytes and transports > 90% of circulating cortisol. Although Serpin A6 is a serpin family member, it shows no protease inhibition. Mature mouse Serpin A6 is 375aa in length. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
