Potent and selective inhibitor of p38alpha (Ki values are 0.5, 3.6, 2600 and 4100nm for p38a, p38beta, p38gamma and p38delta respectively). Displays >1000-fold selectivity against 36 other kinases, inhibits whole blood LPS-stimulated TNFalpha (IC50 = 3nm). Sequence: C29H27N5O.HCl Solubility: DMSO (~100mM), Ethanol (~100mM) Molecular Weight: ~461.56 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
