Follistatin-related gene protein (FLRG) has been shown to bind and inhibit the TGF-beta family ligands including activin, BMP-2, -6, -7, and GDF-8. FLRG is expressed most highly in heart, lung, kidney, and placenta, and is upregulated by TGF-beta and Activin via Smad proteins. Sample Type: Cell culture supernates and urine Intended Use: This BioAssay(TM) DuoSet ELISA Development kit contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure natural and recombinant human Follistatin-Related Gene Protein (FLRG). This DuoSet is designed for the analysis of cell culture supernates and urine. Range: ~15.6-1000pg/ml Specificity: Recognizes natural and recombinant human Follistatin-related Gene Protein/FLRG. Kit Components: Mouse anti-human FLRG capture antibody, 1x vial Biotinylated mouse anti-human FLRG detection antibody, 1x vial Recombinant human FLRG standard, 1x 3vials Streptavidin-HRP, 1x vial Storage and Stability: Store other components at 4C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
