25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 3-Hemisuccinate is a conjugate of 5-Hydroxyvitamin D3 (C125700), the principal circulating form of vitamin D3, formed in the liver by hydroxylation at C-25. Calcium regulator. Also used in the preparation and synthesis of antisera to be used in the immunoassay of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3.
