Many beta-glucuronidases derived from mollusks also contain sulfatase activity. Synonyms: 4-O-Methylglucuronidase, beta-D-glucuronidase Acid, E.C. 3.2.1.31, Exo-beta-D-glucuronidase, GUS, Glucuronidase, Ketodase, beta-D-Glucuronidase, beta-Glucuronide Glucuronohydrolase CAS No: 9001-45-0 Appearance: Off-white to light yellow solid Purity: 300,000 units/g solid Unit Definition: One Modified Fishman unit will liberate 1ug of phenolphthalein from phenolphthalein glucuronide per hr at 37 C at pH 5.0 (30 min assay). Sulfatase Unit Definition: One unit of sulfatase will hydrolyze 1umole p-nitrocatechol sulfate per hr at pH 5.0 at 37C. Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only.
