Synthetic peptide corresponding to 20aa from 2nd extracellular domain of human XCR1. Species sequence homology: monkey.
CCXCR1 is a Chemokine Receptor expressed in lymphotactin-responsive leukocyte cells. The viral macrophage inflammatory protein-II, vMIP-II (but not vMIP-I), has been found to be an antagonist of lymphotactin activity at CCXCR1. The CCXCR1 gene is located near the genes for C-C chemokine receptor 9 and SIV/HIV receptor Bonzo on chromosome 3. CCXCR1 is associated with inflammatory and immunological responses by regulating the trafficking of T and B lymphocytes and neutrophils. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
