Antibacterial, antifungal, insecticidal and antihelmintic. Potential anti-osteoporotic agent in treating bone lytic diseases. Neuroprotection inducer. CAS Number: 88979-61-7 Source: Streptomyces sp. Gö 14F Formula: C39H60O12 Method for Determining Identity: Proton NMR Solubility: 100% ethanol, methanol, DMSO or dimethyl formamide. May undergo transformation to methyl ketal on long term storage in methanol. Recommend the use of fresh solutions. Molecular Weight: ~720.9 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O.
