Produktbeschreibung

Cell permeable, irreversible calmodulin antagonist. Acts by covalently binding to a lysine-rich inhibitory site. Inhibits by blocking the activation of the Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent phosphodiesterase. Herbicidal mycotoxin. Phytotoxic, antifungal, antibacterial and nematocidal compound. Anticancer compound. Shown to induce paraptosis-like cell death. Shown to inhibit P-glycoprotein-mediated transport. Source: Bipolaris leersia Formula: C25H36O4 Solubility: Soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMSO or dimethylformamide. Poorly soluble in H2O. Molecular Weight: ~400.6 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with ethanol, methanol, DMSO or dimethylformamide. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
