A potent, cell-permeable, and specific activator of the exchange protein activated by cyclic AMP (EPAC) [also called cAMP-guanine nucleotide-exchange factors (cAMP-GEF)] in vitro and in vivo. Does not have any effect on protein kinase A (PKA). A useful tool to discriminate between EPAC and PKA. Note: 5uMol=2.54mg. Formula: C17H16ClN5O6PS Na Solubility: H2O (10mg/ml) Molecular Weight: 507.8 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
