The Mammary Carcinoma Marker CA15-3 (CA15-3), BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique to quantitatively measure the levels of CA15-3 in human serum. Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Avidin. Biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CA15-3 and standards/samples are pipetted into the wells. After washing, CA15-3 antibody conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CA15-3 in sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Detection Range: 15-250U/ml Sensitivity: 3.8U/ml Precision: Intra-assay CV: <15% Inter-assay CV: <20% Kit Components: 227801A: Microtiter Strips, 1x48 wells or 1x96 wells 227801B: Standard 0U/ml, 1x250ul or 1x500ul 227801C: Standard 15U/ml, 1x250ul or 1x500ul 227801D: Standard 40U/ml, 1x250ul or 1x500ul 227801E: Standard 100U/ml, 1x250ul or 1x500ul 227801F: Standard 250U/ml, 1x250ul or 1x500ul 227801G: HRP Conjugate, 1x3ml or 1x6ml 227801H: CA15-3 Antibody, 1x3ml or 1x6ml 227801J: Sample Diluent, 1x5.5ml or 1x11ml 227801K: Wash Buffer, 20X, 1x7.5ml or 1x15ml 227801L: Substrate A, 1x3.5ml or 1x7ml 227801M: Substrate B, 1x3.5ml or 1x7ml 227801N: Stop Solution, 1x3.5ml or 1x7ml Note: The Stop Solution (227801N) provided with this kit is an acid solution.
