Hexapeptide STAL-2 or TRAP (Thrombin Receptor Activating Peptide), is a protease-activated receptor (PAR-1) agonist peptide. Thrombin Receptor Activator Peptide 6 (TRAP-6) protects astrocytes from cell death, which is associated with hypoglycemia. TRAP-6 induced aggregation and impaired adhesion to collagen under flow conditions.
