Kit comes in a convenient format with purified BRD4 (BD1) protein, ligands, Tb donor, dye-labeled acceptor, assay buffer and microtiter plate to perform 384 reactions. The BRD4 (BD1) TR-FRET BioAssay(TM) Kit is designed to measure the inhibition of BRD4 (BD1) binding to its substrate in a homogeneous 384 reaction format. This FRET-based assay requires no time-consuming washing steps, making it especially suitable for high throughput screening applications. The assay procedure is straightforward and simple, a sample containing terbium-labeled donor, dye-labeled acceptor, BRD4, substrate, and an inhibitor is incubated for sixty minutes. Then, the fluorescence intensity is measured using a fluorescence reader. Applications: Suitable for use in screening small molecular inhibitors for drug discovery and HTS applications. Other applications not tested. Store other components at 4C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
