Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids from an internal sequence of human VMAT2.
VMAT2 is involved in the ATP-dependent vesicular transport of biogenic amine neurotransmitters. VMAT2 pumps cytosolic monoamines including dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, and histamine into synaptic vesicles. It is a requisite for vesicular amine storage prior to secretion via exocytosis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
