Nicotinamide riboside kinase 2, also known as ITGB1BP3, belongs to the uridine kinase family and NRK subfamily. ITGB1BP3 is found at lower levels in heart and is downregulated during myoblast differentiation. ITGB1BP3 catalyzes the phosphorylation of nicotinic acid riboside and nicotinamide riboside to form nicotinic acid mononucleotide and nicotinamide mononucleotide. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-230 of human ITGB1BP3, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.
