CCL1 (chemokine C-C motif ligand 1) is a small glycoprotein secreted by activated T cells that belongs to a family inflammatory cytokines known as chemokines. CCL1 attracts monocytes, NK cells, and immature B cells and dendritic cells by interacting with a cell surface chemokine receptor called CCR8. Unlike the other members of the C-C family, CCL1 does not induce chemotaxis in natural killer (NK) cells. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-96 from human CCL1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~10.8kD (94aa) Amino Acid Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MKSMQVPFSR CCFSFAEQEI PLRAILCYRN TSSICSNEGL IFKLKRGKEA CALDTVGWVQ RHRKMLRHCP SKRK Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
