Prefoldin subunit 4, also known PFDN4, is a member of the prefoldin beta subunit family. PFDN4 is a heterohexameric chaperone protein which has the ability to capture unfolded actin and is a possible transcription factor. Six prefoldin polypeptides, prefoldin 1-6, have been identified. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-134 from human PFDN4, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.
