Sample Type: Fish, shrimp, water. Intended Use: This BioAssay(TM) kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of Malachite Green concentrations in fish, shrimp, water. Sensitivity: 0.1ppb Range: 0.1-27ppb Precision: Intra-assay: CV%<10% Inter-assay: CV%<10% Test Principle: This BioAssay(TM) employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this BioAssay(TM) kit has been pre-coated with Malachite Green antigen. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Malachite Green specific antibody and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated anti-antibody. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Malachite Green and Malachite Green in standards or samples with the Malachite Green special antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Malachite Green in the standards or samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
