TNFRSF10D, also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10D, is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This protein contains an extracellular TRAIL-binding domain, a transmembrane domain, and a truncated cytoplasmic death domain. Also, it is can protect cells bearing TRAIL R1 and/or TRAIL R2 from TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. The ED50 for this effect is less or equal to 10ng/ml in the presence of 2ng/ml TRAIL. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
