Chemokine receptor-like 1 (also designated G protein-coupled receptor DEZ or ChemR23) belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor 1 family. It is an integral membrane protein functioning as a receptor, possibly a chemotactic peptide receptor. It also acts as a co-receptor for various SIV strains and for a primary HIV-1 strain. ChemR23 is highly expressed in developing osseous and cartilaginous tissue, brain, kidney, gastrointestinal tissues and myeloid tissue, as well as in adult parathyroid glands. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 ELISA: 1:20,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
