Doravirine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) that inhibits HIV reverse transcriptase (IC50 = 11nM).1 It inhibits the spread of wild-type HIV and K103N, Y181C, and K103N/Y181C mutant HIV strains in cells cultured with 50% normal human serum (IC95s = 19, 42, 25, and 54nM, respectively). Formulations containing doravirine have been used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection.
