Glycochenodeoxycholic Acid 3-Sulfate Disodium Salt is a bile salt formed from chenodeoxycholate and glycine. It is a disodium salt form of Glycochenodeoxycholic Acid 3-Sulfate. It acts as a detergent to solubilize fats for absorption and is itself absorbed. It is a cholagogue and choleretic. Can be used in analytical study of detection of nonpolar putative urinary sulfate conjugates in pregnant women.
