| (+)-Isomenthol is a reagent that has been used in the preparation of a phosphine activator. Used as a flavoring agent, in topical pain relief products (for its cooling sensation), and in oral care products like toothpaste. (+)-Isomenthol has two stereoisomers: (1R,2S) and (1S,2R). The (1R,2S) isomer is more potent in inhibiting bacterial growth.
