Synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of Human ASH2L
ASH2L is a component of the Set1/Ash2 histone methyltransferase (HMT) complex, a complex that specifically methylates Lys-4 of histone H3, but not if the neighboring Lys-9 residue is already methylated. It as part of the MLL1/MLL complex it is involved in methylation and dimethylation at Lys-4 of histone H3. It may function as a transcriptional regulator. And it May play a role in hematopoiesis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
